Hi do you require security for the cider and perry festival could you give me a ring and il sort you a great price
Hi Martin – thanks for the message. I’m sorry but we’ve already got security sorted for this year. Drop us a line early for 2016 event. Contact email is email@example.com. Thanks, Cressida
After paying entry fee what charges are there
Do we have to pay drink charges for each drink
Ticket is for entry, a complimentary festival glass and programme, and a great line up of music. You can then separately buy tokens to get your cider at the bar; a half is £1.80 and a third is £1.20.

Hi is this a family event so children welcome?
Yes it’s completely family friendly all weekend, but we put on a few things on Monday 25th to create Medieval Monday with circus skills, jester shows and more. Under 18s a free when accompanied by a full paying adult.
Hope to see you at the Festival!
Will you be providing lighting in/around the toilet facilities this year? Last year was disgusting after it went dark – I wish I hadn’t brought a torch!!
Yes we have plenty of additional lighting this year, and hopefully the rain will stay away too.
If we stay the Sunday night, one night only; does that include Monday entrance?
No, your Sunday Camping ticket would give you entry for Sunday plus camping that evening. You would need a separated ticket for the Monday.
hi there we are camping on the sat night and are wondering if there is a restriction on the size of tent there is 6 of us and want to bring just one tent instead of bring 3 smaller ones
Hi – yes one large tent is fine. The stewards will help to locate you. You just need to make sure each person has booked a camping ticket. Thanks
thats great thanks alot really looking forward to it again we have been two years in a row

Is it OK to bring a caravan (if it is OK, will there be electric hook-up available?) Cheers
Hi Anthony – yes caravans are very welcome, however we do not have electric hook up on site. Thanks
Who books the bands? Are you open to suggestions? I know that you support local artists and have really enjoyed the line up of previous years. I would like to suggest a great local Newport band 7th circle http://www.7thcircle.co.uk/ I have seen them a few times and believe they would bring a lot to the party.
Thanks Jeff, we’ll have a look!
Hi, we have not been to your festival before and we’d like to camp over. How dog friendly are you?
Hello and thanks for your message. Well behaved dogs are more than welcome. Please keep in mind that it can get quite busy inside the castle walls where the main event happens, and there will be live music. It’s much calmer in the campsite. Dogs are welcome in both, and must be kept on a lead at all times.
Hope to see you at this year’s festival!
Thank you for getting back to me that’s brilliant news! We are all looking forward to it. Can’t wait to start getting the camping gear out of the loft.
Campervans ok then? Too old for tents now!
Yes campervans are fine, just book a normal camping ticket. Thanks
Have you published the music line up for the weekend yet
We are due to shortly…
Hi can we come in a motorhome plz
Yes, of course, just book regular camping through the website http://www.ticketsource.co.uk/welshcider – cheers!
Hi would you have facilities for fresh water and emptying toilet from caravan etc?
Yes we do, there is Elsan waste disposal and fresh drinking water.
Hi is the camping price per night or per person?
All ticket prices are per person. There is a weekend ticket option or you can pay for individual nights.
Hi were coming on the Saturday can we bring our own food
We have a great selection of food stalls and would encourage you to use these.
is there any way to purchase a ticket without the £2.50 per person booking fee?
The booking fee is per booking not per person. This is the only way to book tickets in advance and the fee covers the card processing fee.
There may be tickets available on the door but we can’t guarantee.
Can you tell me how I book a camping pass for wkend please
Head over to welshcider.ticketsource.co.uk and choose the Friday for all weekend ticket options
Hi. I am coming to festival with 20 friends for a big birthday. Will there be a need to reserve this amount of tickets or will it be ok to purchase this many on the day?
It would be best to reserve. We couldn’t guarantee that many would be available
Would it possible to put these aside for us for sunday?.
Does the overnight camping ticket price include entry ticket?
The weekend camping is on top of the ticket price, but is valid for all three nights camping over the weekend
I would like to come Friday and camp Friday night and Saturday during the day, what tickets do I need to purchase?
You would need Friday and Saturday day tickets and a camping pass ( this is valid for the three nights – so if you decided to camp on the Saturday you could)
is it one camping ticket per person or one per tent/camper van
Hi Mike, it’s per person
We’re planning on camping for the weekend. Do we have to pay £20 each for the camping for the children as well as for the adults or is it just adults please? (We know we need to book the kids in for weekend passes and pay for adult weekend tickets)
Hi Jo, Just the adults as children are free. 🙂
Hi I’ve bought camping passes for Saturday do I need to buy tickets for the Saturday too or is it included?
Hi Sarah, Yes you will need a Saturday ticket to get entry to the festival.
What time does the festival start and end in the Sunday?
The festival is open from 12 midday to 11pm on the Saturday and Sunday
Are you able to bring your own alcohol?
No alcohol will be allowed into the castle.
