While the cider and perry will always steal the show at our festival, we work hard to pull together a pretty impressive line up of the region’s best bands and artists – this year is no different.
So here it is… [drum roll]… this year’s line up!
Among this year’s super selection we have the likes of 2 Rude, who will inject some ska energy into the first night. This well-reputed cover band have played thousands of sell-out gigs, bringing with them a professional mix of best loved tunes from the 80s, from favourites such as The Specials and Madness. They guarantee to entertain, with some serious singing, grooving and dancing!
Saturday’s is headlined by festival favourites, the Bayside Boogiemen, a kicking, fun time, 8 piece, 60’s soul covers outfit that would rival the likes of any Fat Barrys Soul Band. If you’ve not seen them before, you’ll be hooked and up dancing before you can say ‘Heatwave’!
Playing alongside the Boogiemen on Saturday is Big Joe Bone, acoustic bluegrass and Delta blues, accompanied by harp, banjo and slide guitar and delivered with honesty and passion. Popular UK wide, Big Joe is known for attacking his set with foot stomping style.
Back by popular demand to headline Sunday night is Bristol-based The Emperials. This 8 piece ska line up, are a long running major force on the UK Ska scene. More ska you say, well you’ve told us that you just can’t get enough, and having such an impressive band on the line up, will be a real crowd pleaser. You know you’ll be skanking all the way to the front of the stage.
So that’s just a taster…. Check out the rest of the line up here!
