5 days to go… 5 reasons you should be coming!

  1. The cider and perry, of course…

With most of the producers in Wales, plus a few international guests, coming along, it’s the perfect opportunity to speak to the people who make these great products. There are over 120 different ciders and perries, so you’ll need some guidance on what to try. And to help you further, the annual championships on the Saturday will pick out the best of bunch for this year. You can keep a track of your favourites in our full cider listings in the festival programme, and we’ve even go t a few of the producers to set aside some of their time to run some tutored tastings on Sunday afternoon.

  1. A top location…

Caldicot Castle’s impressive structure is surrounded by an idyllic 55 acre country park. You will be able to travel through time and discover the home of Welsh castle life, from medieval times to the twentieth century. The castle was developed in Royal hands in the Middle Ages and restored as a Victorian family home.

  1. An unmissable line up of local bands

To help you enjoy the cider and the setting, we set up a live music stage and fill it with live bands across the four days. Whether your taste is chilled acoustic sets, energetic pop rock, instrumental folk, lively ska, or bluesy soul, we’ve got a line up that will suit everyone. With headliners that are gathering a respectable following across the UK, can you afford to miss out on the likes of Fireroad, Big Mac’s Wholly Soul Band, The Emperials, James Clode Band, or Henry’s Funeral Shoe?

  1. It’s value for money…

Keeping our ticket prices realistic means that we can cover the cost of putting on the festival, and prepare ourselves for doing it again next year. The adult day ticket costs less than a trip to the cinema, but gives so much more. Best of all, we don’t charge for under 18s as this is an event for the whole family to enjoy.

  1. Keeping it local…

Each year we want to make sure that we bring you a range of food and entertainment that reflects our commitment to putting on a festival with quality producers and entertainers. That’s why we have brought on a number of local caterers that offer a range of homecooked food to keep you fed throughout the event. There are also a number of local produce and craft stalls to browse, chainsaw carving demonstrations, a King Kubb tournament, food demonstrations from the History Chef, as well as face painting and cakes from local charity ‘Keep Ruby on her Feet’.

And if that hasn’t whet your appetite, then check out the festival video from last year. Just watching it is just getting us excited for Friday!

Guarantee your ticket by booking in advance at TicketSource, or buy on the door.

See you there…
